Description

The Security Engineer is experienced in following and applying FBI, DOJ, NIST, and DOD IT policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines to security engineering.

He or she is experienced in testing IT Security and Contractor solutions and Contractor implementations.

The Security Engineer leverages IT Security experience and skill sets and applying them in the applied research, development, testing, and evaluation of biometric technology and its applicable use for security.

It is preferred that the Security Engineer illustrates knowledge and experience in wireless communications, web and content filtering, and testing, assessment, and engineering of biometrics technology in relation to security.

The Security Engineer demonstrates knowledge of FIPS-140-2/AES256 technology/standards, as well as various entities of IT Security engineering (authentication, auditing, retention, notification, network security, IPS and IDS security design and implementation, configuration changes, and firewalls).

Some travel may be required.
