Systems Administrator

Description
The System Administrator creates procedures for responding to new threats to systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability.
Reallocates resources as they become available, optimizes systems performance and recommends additional components to improve overall performance.
Manages the installation of software and hardware, systems fixes, updates and enhancements. Installs configures and tests software on workstations.
Oversees the management of accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment, as well as develops and presents training on the operation and maintenance of systems to IT staff.
Applies a comprehensive knowledge of system integration, performance tuning, evaluation methods and procedures, and project management principles sufficient to maintain, plan and coordinate the installation of new products or equipment in a server environment.
Some travel may be required.
Requirements
- LDAP (preferable)
- Unix and/or Linux (Red Hat preferable)
