Job History
Systems Engineer
Data Integration support for National Data Exchange (N-DEx)
Wrote XML, XSLT, PL/SQL, T-SQL, some Java and C# (very limited).
Worked with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Firebird databases.
NIEM, N-DEx IEPD (which includes some LEXS), XML Data standards, some GJXDM
First project entailed mapping data from an Oracle Database using PL/SQL directly to XML. Final product produced XML files at a rate of 160 records in 5 seconds.
Worked for 8 months on developing PL/SQL for the N-DEx Oracle staging database project.
Researched, tested, and verified that it is possible to perform the same direct SQL to XML code with T-SQL for MS SQL Server databases. This established the foundation for a N-DEx standard staging database being created for MS SQL Server as well.
Web application user interface design
N-DEx Quick Client Refined the user interface of the N-DEx Quick Client.
N-DEx Serial Review Application (currently in development) Designed the user interface and worked closely with application developers to create a user friendly web-based program that would enable secure manual review of sensitive data.
